Florence O’Regan (former Research Project Officer)
With previous research interests in the Humanities and Social Sciences, Florence explored the field of Geography at Trinity College Dublin. She started a PhD in Modern and Medieval Languages at the University of Cambridge, UK, in 2005, and has an MA from the University of York, UK (2001), as well as a BA from the University of Durham, UK (2000).
Her professional experience includes a range of diverse, demanding academic support roles within university administration teams at leading UK and Irish institutions, including positions at the University of Cambridge’s Development and Alumni Relations office, the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute, and the Leeds International Medieval Institute.
Within the GEOFIN project, Florence’s work as a Research Project Officer included maintaining the project website and coordinating social media communications from the GEOFIN team, as well as research support and project management responsibilities.
